Classes
Shanghai Semester
All classes (except Chinese language) are taught in English, so no previous knowledge of Chinese is required. The language courses focus primarily on conversational listening and speaking, as well as reading Pinyin. Depending on student interest, the courses will also include special lectures on calligraphy, Chinese painting, Taijiquan, and Chinese cuisine.
Students will earn a minimum of 12 credits. Other electives are available for an additional cost. The College of International Exchange of Shanghai University will provide the graduate certificates and the score for the students who pass the final exam.
